    Tribal Tumba is a brand by Mr Deepak Dewangan who lives in village Pallari - Kondagaon. He is renowned for his incredible tumba (Lauki) art. He makes Tumba lamps, bamboo planters, wind chimes and various amazing artifacts. He is Incredibly dedicated towards his ecofriendly artforms.

    Tumba is less known craft widely produced in the Bastar region, which originated with the widespread use of hollow gourd shells. Tribals used them as containers to store water and salfi, from which this art is inspired.
    The root of the tumba craft lies in the common use of hollow gourd shells by the tribals to store water and salfi as containers. They soon began to decorate these vessels and tumba came into being. Locally known as lauki, the gourd stuff. The craftsman must dry the gourd in the sun for as long as six months after the inside of the gourd is removed to create an item
